Maine in June means Black Flies and Lady Slippers. Paul spent a week helping my dad with plumbing, roofing and pruning at camp. I am sure there were a few well- deserved drinks on the porch too. Petunia caught a couple chipmunks and got spoiled by my parents.

Did you know that Lady Slippers can’t be transplanted or propogated? They only grow where they want to and you never have any luck moving them. They are all the more beautiful for their independence.
