		<description><![CDATA[I just found your blog.  Your quilts are beautiful; I especially love this red one with the birdies!  But I like any color as long as it&#039;s red.  And I&#039;m a sucker for birdies...  I just finished a quilt with a Minky backing but I thought I couldn&#039;t/shouldn&#039;t quilt through the Minky because it might ruin the pile.  I just quilted the quilt top to a thin cotton batting, then layered the Minky on the back and after I bound it I went back and did some tacking through all three layers.  But after it went in the wash the prewashed fabrics decided to shrink a bit more and now I&#039;ve got a saggy Minky backing, so I wish I&#039;d done mine like yours.  Do you have any tips or tricks to share about quilting with Minky?  Your projects are all so beautiful.  I love the T-shirt dresses you made, too.]]></description>
