My living room walls are unpainted, much of the trim is unfinished, one light switch kind of dangles in the wall, the carpet is stained, and only one of the windows has a curtain. But my couch and throw rug match, which is about all I can say about the “togetherness” of the room. So, I recovered my plain-jane couch pillows in something I love (queen anne’s lace ) but emphatically does not match the throw rug.
I call my aesthetic “eclectic” and focus my eyes on Burn Notice re-runs.
