I was inspired by Rae and her newborn pants. I picked a few favorite fabrics that just yelled out from the stash. I tried the small and medium and large size of my simplicity pattern.
And I attacked a stack of t-shirts that I have long hoped to repurpose and a big spool of elastic I bought for 25 cents at a yard sale.
That really says “hong kong” from a long ago trip when baby tees were still flattering.
I tried to do them all unisex but these were the ones that are admittedly girly- but I couldn’t resist making. Hey there is a 49% chance right??
And then I made the plunge- and made a jumper (or creeper?) and I am so pleased with the results; this was a sweatshirt from South Africa that never really fit me right, but looks perfect in this incarnation!
