Simplicity 5316, I love you

I have worked with this pattern once before, but I think it is really well suited to the corduroy that I found at Alewives a few weeks ago. I hope to add polka dot knee patches once I figure out where where her little knees might be. This is a size medium from the pattern. It is still a bit big- but at the rate she is growing I am sure it will fit by thanksgiving.

And snap tape, why did no one tell me the glory that is snap tape? So easy, so very much faster than hammering all those snaps. Dear snap tape- you are awesome.

and a quick view from our vacation-

Tide pools on Sunset beach, NC. Perfect for our first time beach baby!

  1. Such a cute little romper for such a sweet little girl! And yes, I enjoyed the joy of snap tape when I sewed for my little ones, too. :-)
