Drapes, from duvet covers.

The guest bedroom. Where we change the baby sometimes. And the baby might have launched an attack on the old curtains.

I snagged two drape panels and a queen sized duvet cover in the Ikea markdowns. And then I bought a twin size duvet cover, opened it up, hemmed all sides and made it the curtain for the sliding glass door. I would have had to hem the bottom and seam two panels if I had just bought the drape panels so I was sewing either way, and this way I saved $10 and don’t have a seam in the panel at all!

I haven’t put the queen size duvet cover on the bed yet because I am trying to figure out how to keep the black dog off the white fabric. Yeah. Not much hope of that.

If you have visited my home you will notice that there is some photoshopping of wall color here. A girl can dream, right? Moving on.

Total investment on new drapes and duvet cover? $30.96. I LOVE the markdown section!
