quick toddler dress

On girls sewing night I cut the skirt pieces from a pattern (simplicity2825 size 3) and with our low key thanksgiving weekend I found the time to piece them to this Old Navy shirt that has been sitting in the dresser unworn. The shirt is a ribbed jersey which was really each to stitch to. Then I took a zillion pictures of a rather uncooperative model this afternoon.

I got some smiles from her but what I really wanted was her to hold her baby doll with the matching outfit that I made from the scraps.  I would do a closeup of the baby outfit, but trust me when I tell you this;  without the little girl in the matching dress,  it is ugly! This is as close as I got to a picture of them together.

  1. That baby doll may look ugly, but your baby is adorable! Lovely dress. It’s missing hot pink tights I say!
